talk about a beaming bride...this is her! her smile is beyond contagious and you could feel the excitement she had to marry her groom the whole entire day. an intimate ceremony, followed by an absolute fun filled reception was how ellen and arkadiy spent this saturday.

i have been so lucky this past year, it's absolutely awesome! i met loads of new families, i attended some amazing workshops, i had many return clients, i had the honor of photographing some beautiful weddings and the year ended with a personal restart project of my own photography! i cannot even express just how grateful i am for every one of you!
so i wanted to do something BIG! something different and something super fun!!!

so i met this amazing woman on instagram a while back. we fell in love at first glance of our ig accounts. she sent me a friendship bracelet and the rest is history! well, that is how it started anyway! it was roughly a year after we 'found' each other that we actually met face to face. i knew i loved her before, but after meeting her in real life, i felt so at ease. we just connected. and her fiancé, brett, was just as amazing! we spent a saturday evening in chicago chatting and laughing over drinks. it was a night i will never forget!
shortly after that, she asked me to photograph her wedding. i was quite humbled to say the least. long story short, here is a look at her and brett's beautiful day. just like that night we met, i will never forget this wedding! who can forget pinatas, a bouncy castle, life size hamster balls and a taco truck for dinner at a no kids allowed wedding! caroline and brett, thank you. from the bottom of my heart. thank you for trusting me with your amazing and unforgettable day.
sunny skies, intimate ceremony, beautiful setting, fun people, lots of little details and loads of love. i would say this wedding could not have been more perfect.
