I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Jill. We've worked with her multiple times, and each time we enjoy it more and more! First let me say that she in an AMAZING photographer (well, duh!) who captures photos from such a unique perspective. She has great ideas and is super creative. But that's not the best thing about Jill...
The best thing about working with Jill is Jill! She is such an easy person to get along with. I feel like that is so important when working with a photographer! When I'm getting photos done, I'm always worried that I'll be awkward! We also have a very shy 4-year-old and I was worried he wouldn't smile or be himself. That just doesn't happen with Jill! It just doesn't! It's comfortable and relaxed. It's fun and easy. It feels like you're getting coffee with Jill, but at the end you get fantastic pictures!  allison rogers

Where do I begin…? I can’t say enough great things about Jill and her photography. She’s been my photographer, friend and basically family for almost 4 years, and there is no one else I would trust to truly capture our life on film.  Jill’s a mom and amazing with kids, which helps tremendously! Not only did I trust that she would capture some great moments with my son, but the whole album ended up being a complete surprise to me! The end result was amazing as always.  If you’re looking for the typical “Pinterest” type photos, Jill may not be for you. Don’t get me wrong, she can definitely make those types of photos happen, but Jill is much more talented than that! If you want to capture your family, wedding, etc. in the most authentic way, have no expectations other than great photos, and are looking for pure art, then by all means check out Jill’s gallery, schedule a consult with her, fall in love with her, then book her. Jill is awesome! We absolutely love when she photographs our family.  We just let her do her thing and when you let her do just that, you get the most unbelievable, tiny lil moment images that you would never be able to imagine because she is that in tune with our session and super creative!  She's everything you could hope for in a photographer.  She's honest, great with communication and her images are delivered promptly.  In the end you get awesome images.  What more could you ask for!?  katie sawyer

My numerous experiences with Jill have been nothing short of magical. As a mother of two young children the idea of family photos can be rather daunting. Complete cooperation is far from a reality and typically the more you expect from them the more of a disaster it becomes ("You asked me to stand still and smile?! I thought you said hit my sister with my toy and run away!). Jill's laid-back and playful demeanor quickly put my fears at ease. Within minutes of meeting my children, she quickly engaged them and stole their attention. She allowed them to be themselves and (here comes the magic...) was able to capture the very spirit that is them. I genuinely cherish every eye twinkling, coy smiling, 100% us image. As soon as Jill got out of her car, she was talking to my kids and getting to know them. She made all of us feel very comfortable and in turn, our images look very natural. There were times during the session when I thought I knew what shot she might be taking. I was so wrong. She was able to really capture my kids and my husband and I how we really are. Genuine smiles, big belly laughs, being silly and more. There are some images that I look at and I can feel in my heart that that is who we are right now and that we will look back at the photos with such a positive memory. 

Jill was very easy to communicate with prior, during and after our session. When I downloaded our images, I had tears in my eyes because I loved the pictures so much. We have them scattered throughout the house and we get some many compliments about them.

I cannot say enough about my experiences with Jill. Throughout my life I’ve been on many photo shoots and worked with many great photographers. Being an artist myself I love and appreciate the variety and differences of every photographer. With that said, I am also extremely picky and can be critical when it comes to photos, and I don’t say this lightly. Jill is absolutely phenomenal. Being a naturally shy and reserved person, it’s important for me to feel comfortable when someone is taking my picture, or the photos just don’t turn out. In the last couple years it’s been especially difficult because I have a young son and it’s almost impossible to get a decent picture of the both of us. Jill is exceptionally great in this area, between all of her hard work and natural raw, not to mention rare, gift to capture an incredible photo or moment, is beyond words to me. No matter the day, the way I feel, or whatever variables I am dealing with- I am always confident in Jill. And she delivers far past my expectations, every single time. I couldn’t feel luckier to have met her, she always makes me feel good about myself and is so professional, while at the same time it’s easy and fun to be around her. When you see her work, you just know. I can walk into a friend’s home and immediately know when I see her work. She is super creative and unique which I just love! I can’t wait to see what she does next.

My family had the opportunity to work with Jill a few times this past year.  Usually having family pictures taken is a very stressful time for me.  However, Jill made me at ease right away.  She’s very laid back, fun with kids, creative, open to new ideas, and extremely flexible. The sessions with Jill actually turned into a fun family activity.  Each time we were super excited to see the unique pictures added to the online gallery ~ which were always done in a very timely fashion.  I can’t recommend Jill enough - she will not disappoint!   Megan marks

we often get comments from our friends and family members about the quality of our family photos.  You Would never tell from the images the chaos that was happening between the shots!  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JILL to anyone considering a photographer.  We simply couldn't be happier.  JILL IS always so quick to respond to emails, flexible with scheduling, so reasonably priced, and amazingly talented.
